The hardest words ♡♡

Why is it so often the case that the most important things to say are also the hardest to say? Even when we know what needs to be said to right a situation or show someone how we feel, we dont manage to make the words come out right. Lets be honest, no one wants to admit they were wrong or put themselves on the line to let someone know how they feel...so what prevents us? For me, and many others, it would be fear!

For some saying "I love you" comes easy and for others saying those 3 "little" words is the hardest thing to admit. In my experience I have seen way too many people using these very powerful words after being with someone after mere weeks & other people never actually manage to muster up the courage to say it at all! I think the fear comes from being rejected or being told the other person does not feel the same, thus it is easier to pretend that the feelings never existed.

I believe that life is too short to keep your feelings to yourself, it is too short to pretend that you dont want someone to love you just as much as you love them & too short to sit back and watch the person you love, love someone else...all because you didnt have the courage to take the leap!!♡♡

Even when we know that what we did or said was wrong we often find it so hard to say "I'm sorry" because, lets be honest, no one likes to admit they were wrong or that they messed up. The sad fact is that sometimes if we do not say those two little words it can change our life forever. No one likes to admit that they were wrong but saying you are sorry could save you a lifetime of regret!
The fear, for me, comes into play when you realise that saying sorry might not fix anything at all and all that will come of it is you feeling very small and left standing with minimal pride.

But I have learnt that you will never regret saying sorry even if it does not fix anything but what you will regret, for the rest of your life, is not saying anything at all and letting someone walk out of your life*
